Hmm...What to Get...What to Get...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a wonderful day out indeed. Sure it was a sunday, but it was actually quite nice day for shopping. And it's not like he planned anything. He decided to just spend off some of the money he had gotten. And what better place to do that then then in the Shibuya District?
He looked back and forth, looking at all the wonderous things there was to offer and all the supposed 'trends' and what-not. Some were kinda cool....Lan could see himself getting into those kind of things. Others were just plain weird, and only made young Lan why such a thing existed in this world. ?And the places here too were amazing. There were just so many famous brands like Starbucks, McDonalds, and Vicoria's Sectret. Mabye Lan would go into one of thses places? Then again, they didn't sound appealing at the moment. Hmm...What did sound appealing? Lan had no idea.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan had quickly departed himself from his train of thought and notcied that a girl was looking at him. It wasn't for very long, but she seemed quite interested in him apperently. This was something he could take antavtage of, and certainly something he could have a little fun with. She was a little cutie, with her blue eyes and long, yellow hair. He guessed she was 15? Then again, in Japan, looking your age wasn't really the 'in' thing apperently. He had waited till the girl was no longer looking at him, and then quietly sneaked up behind her. He then whispered into her ear, ''Boo!''

Hello my Darling, My Name is Lan
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan looked at the girl. Was she not the least bit frightened that a stranger had just come up and whispered into her ear? I know I would have been if someone some unknown being had violiated my airspace without permission. Then again, Lan had done this to alot of people, so why would he be suprised if someone else did it to him? Natural reflexes, I guess. But now was not the time to be thinking about those kinds of things. He had a girl in front of him, and just like a gentleman, he needs to make her feel special.
''My name is Lan, Lan Kamogawua. But you can call me Lan.'' He put out his hand, hoping the girl would shake it back. She seemed a bit shy, especally with the way she said hello, so she might not answer back at all. Then again, he did just scare the poor girl, so he would understand if she just ran off or ended up slapping him instead.

she replied "It's nice to meet you Lan" she added happily with a smile and released his hand. Everbody she knew wondered how Kurai could be so welcome to new people in her life when she was so quiet. She wasn't the type to say something first to anybody, but when she was spoken to nicely, or she could tell that they were nice, than she would probably talk to them more. She liked when people's voice sounded nice when they spoke to her and to others, and she would sometimes actually try to make friends with that person. She thought that it was a lot better to have friends han not know anybody or to have enemies.[/ul][/blockquote]

Well, Let's Say We Take a Look Around
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan was glad she had shook his hand. It looks as though, in his own way, weather she had known it or not, he had just made a new friend. Making new friends was usually quite interesting indeed, especally when they were interesting. Cause otherwise, it was not worth the effort. At least, that's what Lan lived by. As it was, if your not interesting, your not worth it. But this girl seemed quite the interesting fellow, dispite her somewhat quietness.
''Kurai? What a nice name.'' And indeed it was a nice name. He liked it. It had a nice ring to it. ''So...umm...do you wanna walk around with me? Or do you have something to do?'' He didn't really want to sound like he was hitting on her or anything of the srt, but I think it was coming out like it. He just hoped she didn't think of him as some other guy trying to hit on her.

She answered happily. She usually had that happy sound to her voice, but sometimes she wouldn't speak to people and would seem almost dark, or sad. Her happy tone sometimes hid what she was really feeling, but sometimes her tone showed what she was feeling. Kurai thought about it and it seemed neither of them had anywhere in particuliar they wanted to go, judging off of how Lan was looking around earlier "Do you know where we should go?" she asked him thoughtfully. She came around here very little but for a long time, and usually went into the stores and just left without buying anything, because she liked to save her money for something good, so she knew some of the places around here, but she didn't know a lot. She only came to the district about once a month, but she stayed for a long time, just to get out of the house.[/ul][/blockquote]

There are so many Stores...it's Hard to Choose
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan looked around and then shook his head, as if accepting her willingness to go along with what he wanted. And that was a good thing. It would have looked bad if he asked her to walk with him and she had things to do. She also seemed very happy about the whole thing. Whic just made the whole exprence even better. Cause no one likes hanging out with sad people really. Or at least no one I've ever heard of.
Now the question came up: what would they do? Lan looked around a bit, then stumbled apon a manga store. He raced to the window, amazed at everything. He didn't really think there would be one here. Mostly because it didn't really blend in with all the other places. He then remembered: he was with another, not just all by himself this time. It was hard for him to wait up for others, mostly because of his impaitentness and the simple fact that he never really came here with anyone. But this was indeed a different situation, and he needed to, like a gentleman, make sure he wasn't getting too ahead of himself.
He ran back to her. He took a breath, and then began to speak. ''Ahh...do you want to go into that manga store over there?'' He pointed, just to make sure she would see. ''Do you want to go there with me? I mean, we dont have to if you don't want to. Wait...do you even like Manga?''
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had to try this time just cause I didn't post yesterday >>

Kurai answered his question about going to the manga store "Yeah, I like manga" she added to him, answering his other question. She was actually glad of his choice, because she liked reading, and that included mangas. If she saw one with a interesting title, she would end up reading it. Kurai was a pretty big reader, and would read a lot of books. She would read them even if she never heard of them, as long as they ha a inteeting title and a good picture, she would read it. Kurai was surprised by Lan's reaction to the manga store, she was pretty used to book stores and had gotten out of the habit of getting excited about them. His reaction was funny in her opinion, because he had given her the thoughts of a young child watching some cool toy or something. Her reading caused her to have a bit of a strong imagination, and it sometimes popped up out of nowhere and made her laugh for no reason, or become angry. [/ul][/blockquote]

Manga! Manga! More Manga!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With that instant of her saying yes, it was as if a mother had just told his kid he could get ice cream. Although as for why it seemed like he needed perpermission, it didn't really matter to him. He probably would have done it anyway. He grabbed her hand, and rushed inside at full throtle. And apon entering, he had immidatlty forgotten the poor girl's existance. Still holding onto her hand, he had immidatly skimmed the line of books, calling out as quetly as he could some of his favorites to himself along with an occasional 'ohh' or 'ahh!'.
Now...if you were wondering....yes, Lan is a huge manga and anime fan. Now, mos kids his age gave up those kind of things for shoes and clothes and cell phones, but Lan never did for one reason or another. He was very childish when it came to some things. But he didn't really care what others cared about that part of him. At least he tried not to.

she said to him as he was looking through the different mangas. It was pretty obvious that he did get excited easily around mangas, and it was funny to see somebody his age be this excited about the books. Kurai was sort of the same way, even though she didn't show it, she was excited. It had been a while since she came to a manga store, and she wondered if there would be anything new to look at, and Lan being excited made her more excited. Kind of wierd. [/ul][/blockquote]

Ahh! Sorry about that....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan felt a squeze on his hand. He looked, only to see that there was a girl attached to his hand. And it wasn't just any girls. It was Kurai's. Now this was quite a mess he had gotten himself into. Not only did he just meet the girl 5 seconds ago out on the street, now he had just dragged her into a store and was holding her hand. Now, a gentleman would never had done this kind of thing, right? Right. There was only one thing to do at this point to wiggle out of the situation: apaoligize. He was sure it would work.
''Ohh....Agh...sorry. Umm...didn't notice that I was still holding on. My bad.'' He gigggled a little bit and let go of his hand. ''Well...umm...yeah...'' He attempted to change the subject as quick as he could, hoping she would play along. ''Umm...you spot and good manga around here?''

she said to him with her same cheery tone of voice. Kurai looked around a little at the books, not minding his change of subject "How about we just choose one by random and read the first few pages?" she laughed softly. She had already looked through most of these, but she never read a few pages of the books. She didn't see any that she hadn't already read that caught her eye in this spot, maybe she would just read Death Note again. Kurai didn't know why she didn't mind that this person she had met a few minutes ago had accidently held her hand, and it was pretty funny what his reaction was when he relized what he was doing. This was pretty much the same as every other person, except she wouldn't have said anything, and she guessed that it was his reaction that caused her to say something about his apoligy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan looked around after she had said it was alright. Now...what was this chick thinking? Normaly, the average chick would have beat the crap out of a random guy for such an act. Why was she not doing so? She did indeed seem different from the start, but to be this different, well that was a bit odd. Maybe she was just a trusting person. Or maybe she really didn't care at all if he was holding her hand. Maybe she wasn't just one to get worked up over those kind of things. I mean, Lan wouldn't have gotten so worked up if he knew this is how she'd react. Maybe he wouldn't have let go either. Who knows?
Lan liked the idea that Kurai had proposed. ''Well now...find a random manga? Well now...lets see....'' Lan had covered his eyes, and pulled out a random manga book from the shelves. It was marked, 'DeathNote'. He had never heard of it. He pointed the book in her direction. ''So...this random enough? I've never even heard of this manga. Have you?''
