Kurai replied to his question and smiled to him "Let's see if you could stand it" She added. Kurai just couldn't get worked up over something like that, and she would also not beat the crap out of somebody for holding her hand, she thought that was just stupid. She would pretty much just let it go if they apologized for it, if the person didn't apologize to her she might get a little angry, but she wouldn't show it physically or emotionally. Kurai really didn't see the point in getting all worked up over a silly little accident like that. Kurai read a lot of books, and that was why she never got to finish the Death Note series. She had switched to a different book in the middle of a Death Note book and never managed to get back into reading the manga series. She had only managed to get in the first few books a long time ago, and she forgot her place, so she would just restart it. Eventually.[/ul][/blockquote]

How Have I Not Heard Of This Before?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan had nodded when she had talked about only reading the first few. That didn't seem all too good. Then again, he haden't read any at all, so he wasn't one to complain in the first place. Still, Lan was never the type to read just a couple of volumes. Once he had liked it, he was hooked on it for life. Or at least until it had ended. He was just weird like that. But the action itself wasn't all that weird right? I mean, there were bound to be a bunch of people like that somewhere around. He just had to meet them. Maybe if he spent a good amount of his time in a manga shop, he might just find someone like that.
So with the first volume of 'DeathNote' in his hands, he had sat on a couch located in the shop and opened the book. It had an interesting cover. He proceeded to then read said book. After a couple of pages, he coudn't stop reading it. It seemed to have a unique plotline, one about a notebook that can kill people and the like. Now such a thing seemed to be a hard topic indeed to write about. LAn could certainly have never thought about something like that, no mater how hard he would have tried. Then again, he wasn't much of a writer to begin with anyway.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan kept reading and reading the book, completly ignoring the world around him. Also completly ignoring the girl whom he had dragged into the store with him. He got like that with reading alot. Sometimes it would just take forever before he realized what was going on in reality. He was just that kinda guy. It couldn't be helped really. But for some reason, after a long while of reading, he had snapped out of it and looked around him.
He looked at his phone, making sure it wasn't getting late for him. But apperently, he was so absorbed in this new manga that it was getting late. And he needed to be somewhere. He quickly got up from his chair. He started to put the manga he had read back, but then stood still for a second. Why was he putting them away when he didn't finish them? He took them out and headed to the cash regester.
After a bit, he waked away from the cash regester, the first couple of DeathNote volumes in a bag, signifying he had purchased them. Hw walked up to Kurai, and waited until she had looked back at him. He smilied at her and lifted up the bag. ''Well, guess what I bought? Looks like you got me hooked on this Kurai.''
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thats okay :'D And we need to hurry this post along, cause apperently I'm gonna go on a blind date with you in a couple of days xD

she asked and smiled. For her it's a good thing, because that would mean she had something to do in her free time other than go outside and people watch. Kurai pulled out her phone just as Lan had done to check the time, and her curfue was five minutes ago. To her that meant nothing, because she would always figure out some way to get out of getting in trouble, which usually counted something to do with going to the library. "We spent a while here, didn't we?" she asked and smiled.[/ul][/blockquote] Yep XD fun!

Well, I'll Be On My Way Now
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lan smiled at her. ''Yeah, looks like we both lost track of time, didn't we?'' He had said as he walked out of the store. He waited for her to come out after her, and then looked back at her. ''I really had a good time today. Thank you for spending it with me. And by the way, I hope you meet again.'' With that, he had turned his back to her and headed off twords his house.
He swung the bag of manga back and forth as he walked. Today had indeed been quite the day. Not only did he figure out what he wanted to buy, he had alsomade a new friend. Though he wasn't sure if he could call her a friend though, simply cause he might never see her again. I mean, tokyo was a big place. what were the chances they would cross paths once again?
