"Welcome back, Master."
These words made Yuuki groan on the inside as she lead her client of sorts to his table. It's not like she needed this job or anything, it was just a reason to get out of the house. Her hours were exactly where she wanted them to be as well, starting right after school and ending when the cafe closed, which was right after her parents went off to bed. If not for those reasons, she would've quit this god-forsaken job long ago. She didn't like the uniforms and the fact that you had to call everyone who entered the cafe Master. It didn't bode well with her.
"It's nice to be back, Yuuki-chan," the man said smiling down at her. She fought down a shiver. She didn't particularly like this customer with his wandering black eyes, but she couldn't say anything. He was, after all, Shirosaki Akahiro, the owner of one of the biggest recording studios in town and if Yuuki wanted anything, it was to become a famous singer. So that ment having to warm up to this sleezebag.
"The usual?" she asked when they reached his table.
"Of course."
Yuuki nodded, smiled brightly at him, and then booked it away from that table as fast as she could while walking. Those eyes reminded her so much of him that it had caused her to freeze when she first met the man. But that was just about the only similarity that Shirosaki Akahiro had with her father which made her a tad bit grateful that God wasn't out to get her or anything. "Shirosaki-san?" a voice from behind her asked. Yuuki merely nodded, which caused her co-worker to frown slightly. "I can serve him if you want, Yuuki. There are a few customers who look like they're ready to order on the other side of the cafe."
"Thank you," Yuuki said before picking up a fresh notepad and pencil and walking over to where her co-worker had pointed. "Don't worry about it!"
Yuuki plastered a bright smile on her lips as she walked over to the table, dodging past men who tried to grab her. After working at a maid cafe for a year, you learned how to take care of yourself on the job. After all, one couldn't rely much on your co-workers if they were busy as well.
