- - I DO WHAT I WANT, I DO IT MY WAY - -SAY HUMPH (HUH HUH) SAY HUMPH (HUH HUH)YOU ARE NO COMPETITION TO ME Sitting there, she held a small glass of gin and tonic in her hand as the people around her passed her by. It seemed that only yesterday that she was as carefree and promiscuous as the next person picking up tricks. Now she was just Juuri, tied down and not by will. Staring in the clear an hard liquor, she kept her senses alert for any radical change of shape or color. That night, she had been picked on by two women and a male looking for a bed warmer. Now out of the three, two of them were gorgeous and usually she would have no trouble of throwing back a mention of approval but tonight, tonight she didn’t feel like she could be what she was a few days ago…at least not right now.
She had called up a friend, a different kind of friend to just talk to. He was somewhat tall, not very shy. She had been told she and he would make a beautiful pair but…then again she was sure that with any other beautiful person, anyone would have said the exact same thing.
Why?
Because they are beautiful and beautiful people always go together. A coil smile crossed her lips as she brought the cold glass to her mouth and began to sip. It wasn’t natural for tonic to be drunk so slowly but for the moment, she wanted to make sure she really felt the effects and deathly taste of the alcohol upon her tender tongue. Someone had sat next to her by this time and ordered a drink with her.
Would he scold her? In this country, she was still one year underage of drinking almost anything but he knew that she held a fake id to buy cigarettes and alcohol. Though it wasn’t proper for someone of their class to do such things, who was to say what was noble or not anymore? To her, nobility and normality was so vanilla. She was probably the statue of abnormality and sexuality…then again…she knew a ton of people in her class with the same traits so all this mental praising might just be waste of mental energy.
The thought was a bit funny to her. Of all people, would he scold her? She would think not. Tucking a strand of her short black hair behind her left year, the ivory skinned woman glanced at him for a mere moment as if to check if that was really the person she was waiting for. Turning back coolly, she smiled and held up her cup, eyeing it satisfyingly.

SLEEP IN PEACE, WHEN THE DAY IS DONE And this old world is a new world and a bold world,A N D . I ' M . F E E L I N G . G O O D He hadn't been here in a while.
Each step took him closer to the once familiar building that he always would frequent, it was almost automatic, the way he walked, not even thinking about the turns he took and the direction he was moving in. Once, he had known the place well enough to just head over in his sleep. But right now, he didn't know why he didn't come back after such a long time, perhaps it was because he would much rather buy his own drinks, plan his own party and most definitely pick his own music. Than another part of him reminded him that he need to cut down on his expenses until he found a good enough moment to toss his mother in a rehab center.
Unfortunately, like him, she was a sneaky devil.
Rolling his eyes at the thought of her, he shook his head as he directed his thoughts to the matter at hand. Juuri. She had called him, but neglected to mention what for, only wanting them both to meet. He didn't pick up his phone, but he heard her message, since, at the time, he was just listening to music, feeling to lazy to get off the couch for anything more then the bottle of wine hidden under the coffee table. After a contemplating moment, he decided he might as well, although she never took anything seriously, he never knew if there was something serious going on and she needed his presence.
Doubtful.
High class woman seeking assistance? It was silly really, she could just pay whatever it was; money, if used in the right situation and amount, could almost solve everything. Almost being the key word there. The saying money couldn't buy happiness wasn't something that people said just to make the rich feel guilty, but if one was a materialistic type of person, yes it does, buying the things that made them happy. Like strippers, or a car. But for some, happiness came in another form, like love, or being free, or just being able to do what they want. In a way, not everyone was happy being rich, to gain the respect, they had to remain rich. It was like the price they pay.
He pushed open the door, and the music, like always flowed from the speakers, people gathered around people, meeting and chatting up as he prepared for another night of drinking and pleasuring. Everyone was cluttered in a small group, laughing and speaking, trying their best to be heard over the music and the other people around them.
Some people will never change.
Immediately, he spotted the familiar pale skinned, black haired woman sitting alone, or so it seemed. Taking a step forward, he covered the distance between them and took his own seat, glancing dismissively at the bartender. “I'll have a scotch double-malt on the rocks,” he called to him before turning to her, his cobalt eyes taking in her features absently. She never changed, looking almost as pretty as she had when he first met her and mistaken her to be a boy. She dressed a little more like one, much to his distaste, women should have some class in how they dressed, but she wasn't bad when they ran into each other and actually have a conversation.
“Wish I could say the same, you called?” he said in reply to her words, raising a brow, not beating around the bush and instead hitting it dead on. He at least wanted to know why she called before the casual conversation started between both of them.
