WHEN WE GET TOGETHER IT'S ALWAYS HOT MAGIC!
it's always we are the champions, my friends
Despite being told by her darling sister that Ume shouldn’t be following her to college, the younger sister did it anyway. She was much too rebellious to listen to something as silly as that, and everyone knew that they couldn’t wrestle her down once something Hoshi related was looking her in the face. So, when she turned the wrong corner with her friends as they were walking off to attend some obnoxious amount of hours staring at teachers, there was no attempt to drag her back to their hellhole. Besides, they didn’t have the guts to deal with an annoyed Ume, who would certainly turn to face them if they tugged on her shoulder or called after her. This was a mission—not something to be taken lightly. Well, okay… maybe, if you really wanted to. She wasn’t going off to disarm a bomb or anything, but Hoshi things were almost as grave to the girl as bombs and secret missions. Yes, she cherished her older sibling that much.
Adjusting her school uniform as she moved along, she wondered what people would say if she walked into the college in such clothing. Her sister would also know that she was cutting class… though that was already understood by the fact that she was there. No reason to try to cover up what was really going down. Hoshi should actually be delighted that she decided to maneuver away from the normal routine to come see her! It couldn’t only be Ume that was missing the hugs and physical contact that they shared, though perhaps she did like it a little more than her counterpart. Oh well~ it wasn’t like the other had any choice in the matter. Hoshi was going to be in for a pleasant surprise when her younger sister’s head was popping around the corners of the university, looking for her delightful figure.
“Ba ba ba boom de aye~” she chanted as she waddled along, walking on the ridge between the sidewalk and the street. At this point, she had gotten herself into her socks, finding her shoes to be nuisance halfway through the alleyway. Now she was moving along in her school socks, the stark white slowly dirtying as she stepped on the unwashed ground. “Ba ba ba boom de aye~ boom boom boom!” Here she stepped from the sidewalk to the street at the crosswalk, landing on the tips of her toes before hastily making her way to the other side. She made it safely to the sidewalk, giving a twirl for amusement when she did. “Ba ba boom~!”
Once done with her theatrical movements, she tilted her head back to gaze at what she had just approached. The grandeur of the university that her sister had chosen to attend was impressive, leaving her a bit stunned. It was nothing to make her twirl away on her heel and back to sit in the quaint little classrooms of high school, however. This was what she wanted to approach one day soon, how could she turn her back and run! Now that Hoshi had left her high school, there was no real reason to stay there. It was easy to pass the classes and do the homework, and now knowing that she wasn’t able to complain about it with her favorite sibling, it was simply dreadful. Standing there, on the brink of entering a place where she was not yet welcome, made her realize how very bitter she felt about that.
Stepping over the gap, she was now in college territory. Immediately she was recognized by a few individuals, who looked upon her as if she were some lost child. Of course, this was not the case! Ume knew where she was, though… the lost part did qualify to some extent. Classes hadn’t started yet, so the memorization of her sister’s schedule would not be coming in handy until that moment. Thus, exploration was her only way to discover the placement of Hoshi. Not at all did she find this bad, though! Time to meet and greet the people of her sister’s life.
It was a pity that her exploring time was to be cut short, though. Why? Because she had spotted someone who would know of where her sister was, or at least amuse her until she could find the other. The blonde hair struck her as familiar, and the gait was that of one who carried themselves with confidence. As he turned, she knew that this was a guy whom she could rely on to tell her some vague direction where she should look for her sister. The reason being was that this was Kiseki, a boy that she had been told about once or twice while she and her sister talked in their pajamas. While he was not her sister’s best friend, or even a general friend, he took the place as a semi-friendly rival in her book—and that was completely fine with Ume, better something than nothing.
At first she was inclined to approach him head-on, like the self-confident chick that she loved to be. But he was one of those types like her sister, who were interesting to observe before coming in and making a move to speak to. In accordance to this state of mind, Ume found herself hiding around one of the lower bushes that the university kept around to make the place look nice. Crouching there, she got even stranger glances from behind (though she couldn’t really see them…), but all her focus was on Kiseki, head tilted as she observed.
